O2 Components

1. Sensor - is threaded into the header to get samples of exhaust.

2. Controller - receives the  the samples taken by the sensor converts them to fuel type and formats the info for the recorder. The controller also handles the heater circuit and calibrations.

3. Vnet connector - connects the O2 "system" to the recorder network (just like fuel pressure or boost)

Wire lengths:

1. Sensor - 12"
2. Sensor plug to controller - 36"
3. Vnet plug to controller - 16"
4. Power - 46"

Bung Installation

Bungs should be installed 8-12" form the flange
O2 bungs are to be welded in a primary tube 8-12"from the cylinder head. Some racers get away with using one a collector but usually will experience choppy readings at lower RPM.    Click to expand

Here is a link to a Vid showing where the guys with the unlimited budget put their O2 bungs https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=p53oEbTGJkU#!

Below is a set of Pro-Fab headers with the bungs about 3" from the flange.
